Here is my only thought on moving Vlad. Rogers will want to sell merch and some seats during a rebuild. Overpaying on 1 player with dollars and terms accomplishes that. If they go full tear down and rebuild I could see them having Vlad as the poster boy for selling their product. Now will he want to stay in Canada during years of being bad waiting for that next window? Idk. But rogers can’t have a team of nobody’s for 4-5 years. Nobody will come and nobody will buy merch. Gotta have someone.

Dodger Blue ? Los Angeles has a huge Hispanic population (Over 5 million) Vlady would own La-La land. MLB would approve. Luv to see it, wish I could find more Dodger baseball streaming. His contract expires in October of 25. He is gone. Jays can get something for him this year.

This is a good talking point. I think it’s similar to the NHL markets. There are a lot of American born players that don’t want to play for Canadian teams. I’ve heard stories that some players hate going through customs every-time they cross the border, so if the Blue Jays can land Vladdy, I think they have to go all in for it.
