Will Warmane Survive Incoming of WOTLK Classic?!

The question is definitely whether the Warmane will survive the arrival of the WOTLK Blizz server on the original? Many are afraid of that, but I have my own opinion and I stick to it. Leave a reaction and like the video, see you in the chat section :).

Pretty sure warmane will do just fine. There;s already a big community here and yes numbers will go down for sure, but people will eventually return to warmane, even during wotlk classic. Blizzard will definetely fuck up again and the few returning players will say fuck this again. I for one will never play a blizzard subscription ever again

Want retail progression? Start in April the reset of Warmane's Frostmourne realm, if you want the true Blizzlike experience? Lordaeron is your best friend realm. I can't understand people that pay a corporate trash for something you have for free and better quality (And no bot bs).

I do play TBC Classic but I am finding myself playing warmane ALOT more than classic, sometimes I don't play classic for days and just play warmane. I have more fun on warmane, sadly. I played on Warmane for 3 or 4 years some time ago. Did everything there was to do there. Stopped playing WoW for a while and joined classic when it launched in 2019. Nothing beats the raid progression with a guild in classic, progressing from Molten Core to now at SSC/TK with the same group of people is one of the best experiences I've ever had playing this game for 14 years and it will likely continue until we kill the LK. Being stuck on ICC for all eternity may be fun for a few months/years, but I couldn't take it anymore killing the LK for the 300th time and with all the pay to win options (buying Shadowmourne with real life money is the worst it can get) I think i'll never play on Warmane again. Plus all the non canon options that Warmane has like transmogs, faster levelling, faster professions, bigger drop rates, etc etc. I could play on the seasonal server but playing on Firemaw on the retail servers I get way more people (Firemaw has around 21k players), and a character progression that Warmane can't offer. I understand the subscription problem, but the reality is I've had a way better experience throughout classic than all the time I've played on Warmane. I don't think it will "die" when classic WOTLK launches, but I anticipate that WOTLK classic will be popping off with players since it's the best expansion of the game. We'll see what the future tells us.

nice video. I agree with you on many points, I also play on Warmane, and played blizz servers in the past back in the original classic, tbc, and wotlk, one aspect that you didn't touch on is that the Blizz Wotlk will be a remastered version of Wotlk, this for many, will be a huge appeal. including a 64 bit support client, which will be very appealing for Mac M1 users. other alternatives to this would be to get Parallels windows virtual machine for 100 EUR to run the Warmane 32 bit wotlk. other than that, I think some will just try the WOTLK classic for the experience, and probably return to warmane, the monthly subscription is to much of a commitment for many.

I was just thinking this, but honestly I'll continue playing warmane, I still have the client where I play with WOD models, so it's nice playing an old expansion with updated characters, I hope the population stays the same. I've spent thousands over the years playing wow, and would rather keep playing warmane casually for free.

Im totaly agree with you. WOD Model, you can log anytime without paying subscription. Plus dont forget one thing Vanilla Classic is dead, TBC Classic is Near dead too even he is fresh now, the same thing will happend to WOTLK classic after some period of time. If we talk population my forecast is that Warmane will always have 10+k players all the time :).

WoTLK Classic is nowhere near competition to Warmane, maybe for Frostmourne realm only. Tbh, as you said, the Blizzlike experience is no more and the best way to enjoy the game is on a private server with friends/guildies or retail (which rn is wasting money since developing has slowed down a lot and systems are messed up). I am most excited for the private scene compared with Blizzard by now, Classic should be a one time buy only in order to be competitive, but yeah, we will see the entire game die before that happens.

Theres 2 main issues I have with Warmane and both are solved with Classic WoTLK, #1 Visamournes and #2 having 150-200 ping since its an EU server and im playing in the US. Itll be refreshing to finally get to play the legit version of WoTLK again after 12 years. And finally get to have more balanced PVP where everyone isnt running around with BIS LoD gear XD.

nice video but the serious wrath players i think will go to wrath classic and pay the sub due to wrath classic will have more players world wide playing means more mix/max players for pve which gives them more competition to compete for nice parses etc but after wrath classic alot will return to private severs if they didnt do a fresh realms. also content creators that stream what not on warmane etc will get alot more views etc on classic its been proven time and time again from alot of streamers in classic wow but gl to you if you dont want to pay the sub i gave up on blizzard long time ago but i pay the sub because i love wow

Warmane was not affected by the launch of Classic and TBC Classic, I don't think a WOTLK Classic will do much either. How are the classic WoW servers now? They're barren. But Warmane always maintained a high number. Some people are talking about Warmanae being pay to win. Well there is the Lordaeron realm, which is literally more like old school Blizzard than Blizzard's classic servers, but let's say it wasn't: on retail you literally pay to just be allowed to play. Monthly. You can pay to boost yourself to high level. Blizzard has cash shop aswell.

The Lordaeron realm isnt pay to win, but Blizzard actually is pay to win now, you can pay to boost to high level. The population is still higher than pretty much all of Blizzard's classic servers and still standing there for many years, while many of Blizzard's classic servers are already ghost towns. The bugs on Warmane aren't bad enough to make it unplayable and there's really not that many. And I prefer PVP servers, that's not a con for me.

tbc classic is good if u play on full/high pop server - servers like firemaw are full as fk even at 5 am the same will be with wotlk, at start every server will be overcrowded, and then only few from each languauge region, wotlk brings lfd so even low pop servers will kinda be alive, but thats not the point of the discusion (blizz should merge all low pop servres into servers like gehenna or firemaw) warmane will explode(in a good way) few months before wotlk classic arrive - ppl will test the game before it goes live on blizzard servers - then warmane will dry a little (less pop than now for example) then ppl will realise that private servers with x5 exp or blackrock(arena server) are too good options if u wanna have fun, than grinding on x1 and it will be back to normal so I guess there will be good, then bad and then good again for warmane and other privates. I hope blizzard will end classic versions with WOTLK because this xpac was beast:) to sum up both will be good - wotlk classic and warmane - like servers, dont worry

because there is no continuation after wotlk, they will never release cata classic or anything after because those xpacs were flops. So most probably wotlk classic will remain played as the last classic expac, maybe with seasonal servers

you will have the option to copy your character to WotLK. But yes, they do progress to WotLK. Look what happened to WoW Classic. The same will eventually happen to TBC Classic. And i doubt they will stop at WotLK. There are many people out there who want Cata and beyond. I quit my sub today and i am going to start on Warmane. I ain't gonna pay a sub to Blizzard anymore. I am gonna start at Lordaeron. I hope there is some nice community there and that wpvp isn't dead.

We still dont have that information. But we are waiting for BlizzCon in February 2022 , they will inform as about incoming events by date. My prediction that WOTLK classic will come out is somewhere at the end of 2022/first part od 2023. :)
