Will we find little gold Nuggets in Austria?

Today I'm in the Hohe Tauern again with friends - this time looking for mini nuggets. We define nuggets like this: Everything that is not round but has contours and is crumbly. For others it has to rattle in the pan. Pickers say Americans, Or granuleux, the French say the bits between flour gold and nuggets, there are many words for it. We are happy about every piece of gold that proves its uniqueness under a magnifying glass. There is no gold line in the torrents near the ore sites. You can also come home without any gold at all... you also need luck. You can see how I felt in the video here.
I'll take you to panning for gold on creeks and rivers. Accompany me in the search for gold, gold prospecting - and experience successes and disappointments with me after wonderful excursions into nature. The French call it orpaillage, the Americans panning for gold. What is common is the love for inspiration, rest and relaxation in nature. Sometimes almost on the doorstep.

hi, nice video. I wanted to ask you if amateur gold panning in Austria has any regulations or permits if you obviously search outside protected areas. Greetings from Italy

Hi, in national parks its not permitted, you better ask if rivers are in private property and no machines are allowed, but in other areas you can prospect. In former times a permission was necessary but this has changed. But I'm not a lawyer so this is only my opinion. Best greetings!
