We switched to liquid stay green this spring after using the dry powder for many years, went at the 3lb per acre rate, pump it in the mix cone, and induct in the water stream ,no mess, no foaming the tank over, no breathing red dust, I'll never use the powder again.

Thanks for another great video Chet. Was interesting and enjoyable. I have not seen the shop foreman Toby lately. Assume he is doing fine. My compliments to you Chet and Eric and Brody. You three flat flat get the job done with great teamwork. Pleasure to watch you three work. Great teamwork and regardless of the field conditions you get the job done. Shows what a good operation Larson Farms is!!!!!!! Busy time for all of you getting the last of the planting done. If I understand you correctly Chet, you are getting to the end of your planting season. Be careful with that dust those bags create. Think you said it was iron but still be careful with that stuff. My dad had cancer from years of not paying attention. Old school person. Oh boy years ago. About it I guess. Will be quiet now. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything you all. Love your videos Chet. The Iowa farm boy. Steve

As you probably know, Thailand grows a lot of rice and rice fields are basically mud bogs. The Thai farmers make a metal paddle wheel to bolt on their axles outside the wheels and tires.. It is built so that it has several inches of clearance on dry surfaces but when pulled into a rice bog, the paddle wheels make solid contact with the mud and appear to pull much better than going to a quad drive tire set-up but has a smaller footprint than a quad. I have owned 2 JD 4 X 4 tractors, 2 X CAT D5 dozers, one CAT 325 excavator, a model 12 CAT motor grader, , two ten wheel tandem dumps, one 18 wheel dump truck, and a 13 axle heavy haul truck is what I based my comment on. Good weather and good friends in your future.

I take the bone out of my ribeye , butter my George Foreman grill, let the steak sit out until it reaches room temperature, throw it on the preheated grill for two minutes for medium rare, three for well done. Then I flip it over and cook it for another two minutes for medium rare and three for well done. It turns out perfect every time.

@@lynwessel2471 it’s all about latitude. In NC the corn’s 9’ and our beans are knee high. Hemp was legalized this week so the rotations may get interesting.
@lynwessel24712 жыл бұрын
@@The_Charlie_Whiskey Right, you don't have to worry about an average killing frost being October 1st like up here . The biggest worry is the insanely high cost of LP to dry the corn. When it matures a month late likely won't dry down much in the field here
@The_Charlie_Whiskey2 жыл бұрын
@@lynwessel2471 agree and hopefully the frost holds. It’s good as long as the drought stays away and we don’t have any tropical weather. Hurricane Florence in 2018 destroyed much of the crop as well as flooded hog barns, turkey sheds and many homes. Keep growing!

That rock is pretty special. It was moved hundreds of miles by a glacier 20, 000 years ago, was covered by blown soil and vegetation and worked itself to the surface through thousands of freeze thaw cycles...just in time to bend a digger.
@alexdrake99312 жыл бұрын
Actually, I recognize that rock! We took that EXACT SAME rock off our bean field two years ago. Of course, due to shifting of the tectonic plates, the curvature of the Earth, the migration patterns of the Canadian Geese, and the barometric pressure drop of beef Jerry, the rock has now made it out to your farm. Please check and see of it has the " mark" that I put on it in case somebody finds it. You will recognize the mark.... it kind of looks like a small chip on the rock.
