We celebrate most first in our lives because it's hopefully start of something good. But in general we see the last as the end. Retirement is one end we celebrate because it is the beginning of something else. We never know when a last is coming, if we did we would try to avoid it. Good topic. 👍

I realize about the past times with past friends and how changes happened. Never thought about recognizing my last ride. It would have to be loss of desire through achieving some sort of satisfaction. Maybe the itch to feel the wind stays away making you forget to feel that need. I know that ride hasn't come yet. I'm 54 now and There's still a few good rides left.

I don’t film a lot of my rides.if you really think about it. There’s a lot of things.that you don’t do anymore.you really don’t know.that you don’t do that particular thing.anymore it just kinda goes away.before you realize you don’t do it anymore.

Thursday at my post-surgery visit, my surgeon said I need to start thinking about giving up motorcycle riding. And it got me to thinking. 😞

Agreed to be in the moment on getting out riding or doing what you what to do, because we do not know when it might be our last one. The videos I do any more I take it as a memory in history I have a record of at that moment 🙂 RSMF

"Last time so far", is my experience. Interests that aren't interfered with by government, will taper off. Sometimes they will be replaced by other interests. I don't draw anymore, I could do it for hours as a kid. I don't play guitar anymore like I did for hours as a teen, I dont work on my cars, like I obsessed every night in my 20s and 30s, I hardly work on my bikes. It seems golf is a serious contender instead of bike riding for many. Family tend to be hampering to most individual interests. There are bike variations to meet most physical handicaps, so to be the last ride, you need to be pretty far gone. You will have greater problems. Easiest way to extend health to ride until your last breath is to eat good meat, train all muscles every second day, sleep 8h, and not take in more problems than you can solve within your mental horizon.

You don't need to stop riding, you have to down size. Gone are the day's of me riding a 750 pound bike. 4-500 pound bike with around 500 or so cc's are plenty enough to ride/tour or what ever. Put on a windshield and some bag's and hit the road. No, you will not die if your not on a harley.
@JRBACZYK

I absolutely agree right as long as you can ride downsize when you have to downsize but at some point there will be your last ride , Thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated 👍👍
