From its days as a Native American gathering place to its rise as a luxury hot springs retreat in the early 1900s, the hotel has seen its share of fires, tragedy, and ghostly whispers in the halls. Is it truly haunted? We had some strange experiences we can’t explain!
While staying at Grande Hot Springs RV Resort, we soaked in the natural hot springs before heading out for some local eats. We stopped by Side A Brewing for their unique Packed Bowl Sour Ale, creamy mac n' cheese, and their legendary Peanut Butter Burger-and trust us, it was worth every bite!

Hi Ramblers! We are Ron & Jodi; we want to share with you our RV travels in the Pacific Northwest. We RV up and down Washington and Oregon's scenic coastline and explore the east side of the Cascade Mountain Range enjoying the high desert.
We have lots to show you around in our own backyard to include our national & state parks in Washington and Oregon.
The best thing about owning an RV is that no matter where you go, you are always home. Still working full time and living residentially in the Pacific Northwest, we will take extended RV vacations outside the PNW. We have been to California and Nevada and have traveled east to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.
When we take a break from the RV lifestyle we travel to beautiful Hawaii and hop aboard luxurious cruise ships destined for Alaska and the Caribbean. We take you on our vacations for an immersive travel experience.

Another great stop! I’m sad that this trip is coming to an end. The sanatorium looked pretty cool, I love historical structures and the fact that this one has survived despite it potentially being haunted. The town of La Grande looks interesting. I see they have a railroad museum. I’ll keep that in mind for when I get out that way.

The pups looked so happy in all that grass. We stayed in a haunted hotel in Port Townsend when we visited the PNW a few years ago. Real creepy! I hope the brewery let you slide down the firepole. Not too sure about that sour, but the burger looked good. Safe travels. 😁

Oh yes we know that area very well we actually stayed about a year before we started this channel and have been wanting to get back and film soon. Yes the food was great and Ron liked the sour but not for me either! Guess he is sweeter then me!😊

We will be heading to Hot Springs; except not in Oregon in Arkansas, in March. Looking forward to it. Too late I’m already jealous. If you ever get a chance to go to the one in Wyoming, it’s nice. The food looked good.
