Those camping buttons are so cute!!! I printed off the Will you be my Neighbor when it first came out. Then I decided I wasn't going to do it because I had too many projects going on. Then you started it again. I have resisted again. Same reason, too much going on and not sure what fabric to use. As I watched today's video I caved. Now I need to pick fabric and get stitching. I might have to stay up late to look at fabrics and get all my stuff organized.

My Words kit is a flimsy now. Yay!!! I changed many things on this quilt to make it my own. The sun face is my favorite block so it became the center block of my quilt top. I found a rainbow fabric for the back so when it gets here it’s in line for quilting. Love the idea of passing on love through fabric!

Still enjoying getting a sew-jo boost from you, even though I’m not in any of the current quilt alongs. I’m hoping your TouTube following grows. I’ve pointed you out to my quilting friends. That is a very limited number, as I am a died in the wool nerdy introvert. Question: would you accept someone else working on your website, like an ambassador helping with quilt blocks?

Love the birdie pattern-we love spending each morning outside listening to the birds as we have our coffee. Can't wait to try it. Will definitely try to find that fabric of all the states-I would like to add that into the quilt for my grandson. They have been spending their summers traveling through the country to see national parks and different landmarks. Love your daily videos Pat!

You got me! I bought layer cakes of Through the Woods and Words to Live By at FQS on sale last night. I ordered a few pieces of Through the Woods last week-I’m hoping I can use some of these layer cake fabrics with some of the Dwell in Possibility fabric I bought from FQS last week. :) I just came back to quilting after a 25 year hiatus, so I am catching up. I have at least 4 UFOs from back then, plus 2 quilt tops that I want to quilt (maybe only one- the one might just stay a flimsy) and restoring the first bed quilt that I made back then and tied. The floss ties have not aged well, they disintegrated and came out over the years and there are a few seams that have given way. I love this quilt, so I took it apart and now have to repair it and put it back together with new batting and quilt it. There are a few patches I need to replace. I have a few small pieces of the original fabric, but the quilt is faded from washing and being well loved, so even the back of the saved fabric is too dark. I am going to try to bleach a piece and see if I can match the fabric in the quilt. Lots to do, and so many new quilts to make! I have a pretty good handle on my fabric management, but still have to figure out where I am going to keep it. I just need to get home from travel so I can stop binge watching your videos and shopping and start sewing! :) Thanks for all of the inspiration.

I love the project boards so my projects each have their own stack better than all the pieces in ziplock bags
@michele67082 жыл бұрын
Hi Barbara, what size do you use? I am going to make some. I like the idea of keeping them with the project, but I switch around from project to project. How do you manage them when you are not working on a particular project, just in a stack? I think I’ll make one or two big ones and a stack of smaller ones to use like you do. Walmart sells the foam board sheets for less than a dollar, so cutting the board adding some fleece or batting and gluing a fabric border on seems worth the time investment given the cost of buying the boards retail.
