The keys of heaven refers to all Christians, he was just talking to specifically Peter when he said it. It is referring to how our will reflects God's. And could you please elaborate on what Samuel speaks of?

In Romans 5:3-5 Paul wrote "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
