Popscene - How to make the best songs!

When I try to use my songs in Apple Music it shows a plus sign and when I press on the song it exits the game :( please help?

Question, what does the backstage pass do? And, how do you retire?

You can't retire, the backstage pass gives you access to edit all characters and all of their stats. Also it gives you freedom to choose whoever you want when you start.
