The job of Andy is to reign him in from time to time, so does Max when he was on the show. The best years were when Andy and Max were both on the show at the same time.

Willem Dafoe is so awesome as a person. We need to see the person before the actor because that's the true compliment to the man. That's his art. He's so down to earth, yet he plays people who are diverse, eccentric (not that he isn't a little eccentric), callous, sadistic, psychotic, loving, charismatic, etc. Seriously, if I were an actor, I'd love to play beside him with John Williams as my composer.

@@cmja09 Pheonix is awesome. I loved the movie. The slow buildup to it all. But he's not the only one playing, or To play Joker. There's were people before him, and there will be people after him. I just think Willem Dafoe should have been one of them. He's got the grin and attitude, and his looks are on point. Mark Hamill's Joker in Arkham games is the one I think he should portray. To me Mark Hamill is the best Joker ever, but I always love seeing new versions.
