I have no doubt that Willemijn will continue to give these amazing performances in her fifth run as Elphaba. I'd love to be able to go and see her at the West End. I've asked my parents to take me for my birthday, but whether they come through on that, that's another matter entirely. I really hope they do because Willemijn has been my role model since I first saw her on the West end in 2013 alongside Savannah Stevenson as Glinda; Jeremy Taylor as Fiyero; and Katie Rowley Jones as Nessa. I really miss Katie, because she was one of the best Nessas. But I'm sure Sarah McNicholas is doing a great job in the role of Nessa.

Elphaba Thropp Unfortunately, she's leaving! :( I was gonna ask my own parents to go for my birthday, but now I can't, because my birthday is in December, and she's leaving July 22nd.

I knew that she was leaving. I saw her back in April. I only found out last week that she and most of the cast are leaving. When I say most of the cast, I mean Willemijn Verkaik, Suzie Mathers, Oliver Savile, Idriss Kargbo, Sue Kelvin and Mark Curry. The only ones staying are Sarah McNicholas and Martin Ball. From 24th July and onwards, those two will be joined by a brand new cast.
