Willemstad, CURACAO - Silent Walking Tour 2023

Hi everyone! This is episode nine of my Dutch Caribbean series in which I travel to Aruba, Curacao (Curaçao) and Bonaire. In this video, I do a silent walking tour of Willemstad, the capital of Curacao.
As this tour is silent, it gives you the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of Willemstad in a natural way. I start the walk in the Otrobanda area, the cultural quarter of the city. I enter the Queen Emma Bridge whilst it moves to make way for a passing boat - so this is a unique opportunity to see the mechanics of the bridge at play! I then walk through the Punda area with its colourful architecture, and end the walk in the Pietermaai district which is also renowned for its use of colour.
