This is a great song but it should be played like it is sung. There should be pauses, with areas where the volumes waxes and wanes. This bouncey style is all wrong.

In case you weren't aware, the first recorded version of this Errol Garner tune was the original instrumental version by Garner in 1954 - the lyrics weren't added until 1957. The innumerable recordings of the vocal versions are all different from each other in many subtle ways - and my version is not concerned with any of them.
