The bird shit is just epic, c'mon man We found a Cannondale habit 2 carbon 2021 for my son at about the same price but it was pretty beaten up I had to change the BB and complete bearing service, the font left stanchion was scratched but we "fixed" it with the overpriced kit 😂

Thanks! And to be fair even if your bikes are alloy, a lot of bolts on parts recommend/require a specific torque when tightening, so might be worth it... 🤷‍♂️ honestly i just find it super satisfying knowing my bolts are exactly as tight as the manufacturers intended 😂

The only issue with a carbon fibre frame is unless its been scanned you don't know the internal state of it. The seller might have sold it because he had a big crash and has no trust in the bike anymore.

Only discovered this out yesterday but i measured the fork and turns out its actually 150mm already! Previous owner must've decided he wanted more travel... Tempted to grab the Spesh mullet link and try that setup, which increases the rear to 135mm travel also! Cheers for watching man!

Yeah i bought a bike in person drove 2hrs bought it because of fomo. Found out the shock was blown the wheels were broken. The person didn’t even give me a discount on the account that it was in “perfect” shape. Wish I didn’t jump the gun but man is it hard not to drive hours and come home with nothing. Wish people were truthful when they sell bikes. One they can seriously harm second scam the buyer because they just want something new to them. Smh

Sorry to hear that happened to you! yeah i do a lot of digging before buying used stuff now... ask a lot of questions beforehand, ask a lot of questions when i look at the bike, check all welds on alloy bikes or areas of stress on carbon bikes, look for signs of the bike possibly having a hard life, like replaced rims or stuff like that... can never be too careful!
