Just want to say that learning the behind the 8 ball is a huge step in learning because you can take elements of it and use them to make your flipping even better.

I have literally been working and struggling with the 8 ball for WEEKS. i could do each of the 3 main parts but never easily transition into each one. so it was like go-stop-go-stop-go. the moment you said to make an A-OK hand sign, it seriously clicked for everything.

Funny reading the comments and seeing how different people’s experiences are with each of these. For me, i understand the shortstop and have been practicing for two days but cant get it without pausing in the middle. Behind the eightball was easy for me and i got it down almost immediatly. Tried following along with a z choker tutorial for the second time now and im just going to file is under impossible.

coming back to flipping after not for 5 years and all the muscle memory is coming back to me not even realizing I can still do these tricks I still miss having number 46 of the first batch ever of squid trainers, never sell or trade off these if you're thinking about quitting flipping I promise you that you'll regret it. You always come back to it I swear.

This has to be one of the most frustrating tricks I've ever tried to learn. I doing something like a Y3Kish move helps. Reverse thumb then instead of stopping let it roll over your middle finger (middle finger chaplin?), then add in the stop once you've got that down. Not saying I can do it yet but it's definitely helping. Still pretty new to flipping so not sure if I have the terminology right.
