She married a man who needed to marry an aristocrat or a royal who was a virgin, when he was in love with someone else. Prince Charles and Princess Diana hardly even knew each other when they were married. They were practically strangers 13 years apart. Princess Diana became the loving mother of Prince William and Prince Harry. That is her main legacy, as well as the charities she became involved in, with those who were shunned by society. No one should ever be selected as a wife by merit of pedigree or virginity, again. There needs to be a normal relationship before marriage.

How deprecating of Ingrid to say that Kate would turn a blind eye if William was unfaithful on account of being so desperate to be in this marriage. Why would William even bother to shop for hamburger when he has prime steak at home? He saw the unhappiness his father's infidelity caused Diana. I very much doubt William would ever follow in his footsteps - or that Kate would be prepared to turn a blind eye in any case. She is far too self assured to do that.

Actually Charles and Diana pretended to be the perfect little family for five years prior the situation become really uncomfortable and the Queen force them to divorce, and Middleton seems the kind of woman that care more about her title than her personal decency.
