It can be, yes. I have been on a doctor’s care for many years, taking medication. My mother has been trying to understand it, doesn’t, and but gives me the money for medication as needed (i am on a fixed income, emergencies happen, and thankfully the medication i take isn’t expensive). I am blessed that i have friends who do understand, who have family who are mentally ill, and i am blessed that they are willing to listen.

I have numerous health issues myself but don't have a support system. I did have family once, but they all died for the most part. Here in the States, its automatically assumed you have other people in your life to help. As a result, people can be very cruel when asking for disability accommodations which the law actually requires.

I don’t know how to explain it but both William and Kate have a certain sensitivity when they’re speaking to people. It’s not just that their aura radiates kindness, but their reduced tone indicates understanding and provides a sort of privacy of communication with the other. I guess this is their consideration towards those struggling with mental health. I can imagine (and from personal experience too) that one would feel quite grateful towards the comfortable and trusting demeanor they give off.

Catherine and William are doing such important work. I wish more people would be aware, that they are involved in mental health care project for many many years. William spoke about his own experience with therapy. Charles was open about recieving therapy. William and Catherines Royal Foundation founded and supports many great projects like "heads up". William spoke about his experience as a rescue pilot when one of his first calls was to a young man who took is own life and it had a massive impact on him. So anyone who tries to run and push the narrative that the Royal Family isnt supportive and isnt open about helping somone within the family who struggles, is a blatant liar. Period!

I want to thank you both for all your concern in mental health and sucide and talk to people who are coping with many illness especially in mental health, and who are trying to find a way to stop and find a cure in mental health and sucide.we all need to help the less unfortunate who needs helps with family who are going thru tough times,I was in the situation where my daughter needed help with her suicidal problems, I researched and got her the best therapist ,caseworkers ,and group therapy.and she was on meds.but she manage to turn her life around and she is a different person with a good head on her shoulders so I thank you both for caring about what matters.and that is caring for people with mental health and finding the right help.I love you both for all your caring charity.thank you William and Kate for everything.i really appreciate it with all my heart.never stop caring.

There IS no “cure” for mental illness. If there was, my mother would have gotten it for me years ago. But thankfully, for some, there are medications and therapy, and for others, there are “homes” where they can be safe.
