Thx 4 this one..& ur great review. Wm. Castle's films R so excellent. I hav a 2-movie Blu-ray set w/Mr. Sardonicus & Homocidal..2 of my faves..but would luv 2 own the entire collection. I do hav The Tingler on reg. DVD I found yrs earlier. Hav u considered doing a Hammer collection video? 🙂🙂☮☮✌✌

My guess is that the region lock on "Strait Jacket" is probably just over there being something messier about the state of its home video rights compared to the other films and so Powerhouse could only get the European release rights for it. Could some other company have previously bought its exclusive North American licensing rights or some such reason.

Would you be able to use a pair of 3d glasses as a ghos tviewer and just look through one side?

Yeah, you could definitely do that. Just look through the red lens if you want to see the ghosts and through the blue lens if you don't. Keep in mind however, that the effect was never exactly perfect. You can still kind of see stuff if you look through the blue side, it's just more of a shadow. You get more detail when looking through the red side. The disc actually has three ways to view the film. First is straight black and white without any of the scenes tinted for this gimmick. Second is the "Illusion-O" version with the tinted scenes if you have a viewer or pair of 3D glasses with the red and blue lenses. The third version is the "Illusion-O" version with a filter put on the tinted scenes to simulate the effect of using the ghost viewer without the need of a physical one. For that option, you choose whether or not you believe in ghosts in the menu setup.
