I did not think I would get emotional seeing William and Bonnie but here I am. It is incredible to see them, having grown up watching Mr. Feeny, and hearing they are together still after almost 71 years. He is one year older than my own grandfather. They are both such inspiring sweet human beings 🥹

Me either! Whenever Bill started speaking about the key to a 71 year marriage, I just started bawling! I also watched Boy Meets World growing up.. and in a way, it was sort of like Mr. Feeny was a teacher to all of us. It is just so wonderful to see him and Bonnie in their old age and still happily married.

Thank you for posting the video to this. When I listened to the audio version I was concerned by how little Bill said, and thought maybe his age was a factor and it was *necessary* for Bonnie to be there with him...but SEEING it, you see the light and sharpness in Bill's eyes and you quickly realize that's just how their relationship works; she just loves talking about him and he doesn't mind hearing it. :) It's really very lovely. It's such a different (and VERY welcomed!) tone seeing the video!

@RDSports5

The funniest part for sure, haha. The fact that she still REMEMBERS that girl just goes to show the emotional power of love. The idea that she probably didnt like that little Italian girl because she had eyes for Bill, and never forgot it, shows strong their love still is after all these years. You should always keep a little sense of jealousy in your relationship because it means you cherish how special the other person really is. That was a beautiful moment, and funny too :)

Thank you for this🥺💖 I learned so much from this man through the voice of Feeny. I know the writers instilled the lessons into the show, but it had to be Bill to teach us. It wouldn’t have worked with anyone else, it HAD to be Bill. I remember watching the series finale and weeping and I always thought “I’m not done learning yet.” I will always be grateful for Bill’s Feeny.

Same here. Bill was outstanding in any role he ever played, but he made Mr. Feeny into maybe the most iconic teacher in television/film history, he was THAT good in that role. Like you said, great writing of course helps, but its the way Bill played that part, knowing when to be more serious, and when to pull back and be lighthearted, it was almost like watching a great boxer who was just light as a feather on his feet bouncing around the ring with ease. Bill was really a master at that interplay between serious and funny, and he was one of the main reasons Boy Meets World was so successful, and continues to be

Bill Daniels, thank you for sharing so much wisdom and being the teacher everyone wanted. I have to admit when I was child watching this show I use to think you were just a mean old man. Haha but as a 29 year old man and now a father re watching the show with adult eyes I realized how much of a role model and example you were to us. Not only were you playing a teacher and role model in the show you WERE just that to us the viewers and the cast itself. A father figure as well. Thank you for not turning down such an iconic role. I can’t wait to re watch this series with my children when they are old enough and continue to past this amazing series down. 🙏🏽

Out of all the rewatch podcasts, Pod Meets World is the best. The cast actually rewatch and discuss the episodes in detail instead of just flying through them. So many rewatch podcasts don't even discuss the episode but just have the cast members sitting around talking about random stuff that has nothing to do with the show. Also, the chemistry with you three is just brilliant--it's not forced, there's no toe stepping, and you all seem to genuinely enjoy talking to each other and listening to each other's stories. Love this show.

The kids, their relationships, and The Matthews family are the heart of the show. Mr. Feeny is the soul of the show. No one else in the world could do it like him. I get choked up- even as I type this- just thinking about the finale and the very, very layered performance Bill gave with his line after the kids walk out of the classroom to say goodbye. Very rarely do shows get the end they deserve, and he gave us that with that simple moment.
