At first I thought it was stupid how William just abandoned all of his morals and lost hope on Dolores, just took for granted that she would not remember him. ("she is not like the others" he said at one point). He was for sure changed the moment he saw Dolores repeating the "i droped my can" moment with that guest. But I think MiB wanted to give the hosts sentience because subconsciously he wanted to prove to himself that the hosts were real, that what he had with Dolores was real. So that's why he did all those terrible things in my opinion, he was blinded by love (also he had to "damage" or hurt the hosts because thats when they seemed more real).

Luis Romandia I think you have good theorie here. To me TMIB wanted to hurt Dolores to kill the men he was once the one who felt love and kindness for Dolores before he became TMIB. The interesting thing is that the hosts emotions appear to be way more genuine than the humans emotions.

Sigrun Eis that makes sense but i was confused then with the final episode when she DOES remember him and tells him they love each other ans he ll find her. Should he not then be happy and hopeful that the fact she holds on to a 30 year old memory of their love is a step into her becoming sentient? Unlike the time that she dropped the can and didnt remember? But instead he proceeds to beat her and stab her. I just never understood this mib vs William thing... hope that will b explained next season

William and Dolores is my favourite story in the show ,his love for her was real,but William was a victim of Westworld, cos his deception when he finally found her and she doesn't remember William was too much for him, ,there are moments that change our lives forever, and that moment changed his mind

I honestly love the character William. I love seeing how he was in the beginning vs where he is at now. Watching the decline and rise of characters is what makes a good show like this one tick. Dolores as well. She started out so different then how she is now.

Truth to be told, I had mixed feelings about how I feel for these two. Clearly, I didn't see what you saw in the show and I didn't feel this connection but, let me tell you something. You showed me something in this video, you show me truly who they were, what they meant to eachother and for me, you gave them even more depth and meaning then the show ever did, and it's all thanks to your editing and how you chose to connect the scenes and the song. I love this video SO much. Thank you for making me see something that I didn't see, and feel when I watched the show!

I totally get that william became bitter and sinical because he realised what he lived with dolores that meant so much to him actually meant nothing to her when he met her and ahe didnt remember him. I also get him being angry and atacking the hosts knowing they dont have a mind of their own, BUT i never understood the level of violence the directed towards dolores. Its like she wasthe absolute worse enemy, he raped her, he beat her up mercilesly, he stabbed her, i mean, its just too much of a jump from “this is the thing that made me feel alive dor the first time in life “ to turning her into sometging worth nothing but abuse. You d think he d be coming back all these years to re live what they had whils he attempted to find a way have her achieve full sentience... this is confusing to me.. amazing video!

so i've never commented on this and what the fuck???? i've loved it for ages, it's my favorite william/dolores vid and i'm beyond captivated by it every time i watch it. ofc fucking faayza brought this song into the forefront but you truly did take it and reinvent it in a way that only you can do. the scene selection and pacing is just unparalleled and i love the focus you have on the "almost" of their relationship. i remember our discussion of this show and these two as if in a fever dream but somehow seeing this video just brings back all of our theories and metas about how dolores looked for william and william looked for dolores and both of them found each other but in different times and places. i am fucked up all over again, thanks so much!

First off the song choice is brilliant for these two; your pacing, your scene selection. The juxtaposition of certain clips and the way you handled the present William with that of young!william and Dolores. The way you hit the mark each time for the lyric of "no ones' ever looked at me that way". Just SO BRILLIANT. And my gosh i have to say the last minute of this video is my absolute favorite. OK I AM BACK FRESH FROM THE HELL OF SUFFERING THESE TWO SO NO THANKS FOR THAT The voiceovers at the start "They come back for the subtlties. The details. Something they fall in love with" with the clip of him seeing her for the first time after they were separated hahaha KILL ME WHY DONT YOU? He literally kept coming back for her at first until he lost hope and became what he is now BYE. THAT PARALLELS AT 0:51 with them going through those particular doors again and again trying to find the answers no thanks And then of course all the longing gazes between them at the 'no one's ever looked at me/you that way', you kind of did the same thing in my vid where you focused mainly on her looking at him first and vice versa for the second repeat of it. And then the "I've been pretending my whole life" quote and how you showed him slowly accepting that this is the most alive he's felt HAHAHAHAHA AND THEN MY FAVOURITE LINE OF THIS SONG 'Soon your touch will disappear' BYEEEEEE BYEEEEEEEEEE 'SOMETHING THAT I SHOULD HAVE COME TO FEAR' AND HIM SEEING HER AGAIN BUT HER NOT EVEN KNOWING IT'S HIM IM CRYING The parallels from 2:08 to 2:15 ok bye The voiceovers just showing the hurt and betrayal of finding out about him when the music goes down good god NO THANKS (and the choices line with him debating between what hat to choose and then eventually picking up the black hat LEAVE!) since i been watching westworld from season 1 up too season 3 and i been thinking on theory storyline and its came too my mind on episode 1 season 3 and i look back on others episodes and some are same regarding too ( william - man in black fighting with Dolores and Maeve and her daughter with man in black violence scene's............ there's scene with is real wife when she was drunk at party in season 2 when she died in bath ( we don't know who is really is Dolores or Maeve is ) because Dolores or Maeve is first 's of robotics android hosts what Arnold or ford or ?? made ( ford always says i tilling his story and believe he recreate is wife as Dolores or Maeve = after murder accident or bad suicide accident ?????? )
