And next season, he'll actually have more players that can "finish". He had some filthy passes that his linemates (earlier in the season) just couldn't finished, bobbled the puck... Just... Weren't always at his talent level.

Clarke hasn’t even broken onto the Kings full time. Eklund solidified a position for himself on the top line after 1 season. I think the sharks are quite okay with taking Eklund over Clarke
