Aside from my Mom, Kim Basinger, and Elizabeth Taylor I don't think there's a more beautiful woman alive than Isabella Rossellini. And look at her face as she caresses Tom's cheek, knowing it's the last time she probably will. Love the little fella that they forgot about who had to yell out "you hoo" .

I recently picked up the album, Angelo Badalamenti Music For Film And Television, mainly for the Twin Peaks related music on it. It is filled really great orchestrations of his stuff. I just checked and it has a really lovely rendition of the Cousins love theme on there. Badalamenti is an amazing composer.

How sad the shut where she turns her look towards him does not allow us to see the direct look for few seconds. I kind of remember (maybe wrong) that in the movie version, that moment is longer) than the version in this YT. I think it IS the best moment of that movie and starting point of its idea, of that actress and so, of the biggest mistake of all movies. I watched this movie during COVID19 confinement, while tv was passing dated movies. A had things to do, but when I saw Angel Rossellini, I stayed. The movie was at her service, at her advantage, besides showing an extramarital sex. It is not clear how things began between the 2 characters. They are not sure of cheet from their partner and they do not choose consciously to make believe they do the same. Maybe because they are not bad people, so they only are looking for a refuge in a simple friendship as a life saver's O. But anyway, maybe it is also the story of 2 dummies (those who cheeted first their good partner). By the way, my 2 preferred movies are Made in Heaven (Kelly McGillis) and my number one: Les uns et les autres (Bolero in English) from Claude Lelouch (this latter one has a 7 hour version on DVD)
