I think the real issue Regal has with MJF is that he mentioned about thinking suicide on the promo........ Regal is an old fashioned, hard knocks wrestler who paid his dues for a decade around the world and MJF acted as if all his dues were paid in his less than 10 year career........ he's a soft boy millennial compared to the Harley Race, Ric Flair, Bret Hart (gone a month at a time) days of wrestling which Regal respects.

I'm really not clear on what dirt is being covered here. Contextually, it sounds like MJF got shoot angry over an email William Regal sent him? I mean, call me silly, but him being "so" hurt by it... could that not simply be (in part) because he respects William Regal so much, that being critiqued by him might have really shook him? And isn't he still fairly young enough that it's warranted? Jon Moxley is a full decade older than MJF, and has held the world title for many more companies than MJF. OF COURSE he'd know what it feels like that much more than MJF...

This interview is like 2 years old. They did a promo in AEW about an email that Regal sent MJF when he was 19 and trying to get on with WWE where Regal just told him that he wasn't ready yet. The whole thing was worked shoot.
