The Crown's portrayal of Diana last season was appalling, not just the actual performance of the actress chosen to play her but by the way she was made out to be weak, simpering and without any respect for the Royal Family. Hopefully they will have learnt from the strong objections raised by so many & found a different actress to take on the role of Diana, the People's Princess who continued to support the family despite their ill treatment, the truth behind the Panorama interview is out now, was tricked into doing it by a man who made her believe that the family were planning to do her harm, she was terrified & got her story out. Without Bashir's wicked lies she would have kept all of that pain to herself out of respect to the Queen & the position that William would one day occupy. I would like to see that whole story dealt with to reflect the truth rather than the same old "blame it all on Diana" attitude that the media has allowed to prevail for so long
