Mine came in, and compared to the Nelson 1611 it is much smaller, I got mine leather bound, it was a bit more expensive, but preferred over a hard cover to me anyway. I have been studying William tyndale, through videos on youtube, and the fact that 83% of my KJV is from Tyndale is amazing. my KJV in having so much of William Tyndale in it, is a bible given to us by blood, not just tyndales, but those who had his bible in England, were arrested and burned at the stake just for having a Tyndale New Testament. not one modern perversion has a single drop of maryrs blood shed to bring it to us, yetmy KJV does have the blood of martyrs shed for us to have it. that is not the only distinction between the KJV and the modern perversions. God over and over tells us not to add to or diminish aught from His word, I have resources that have pages and pages of differences colated such as Col 1:14, 1Tim 3:16, Philip 2:6, Zac 13:6 Isa 7:14, and there are many many more. I have E-sword and have 15 bibles installed these being the ones available that are also on 2 different 1op ten lists, those on the lists I do not have for E=Sword I installed an android emulator, and downloaded three currently popular translation, the ceb (on the top 10 list) the passion translation, and the modern English version. Since you cannot highlight and copy text from those three directly, an ocr text reader works nicely to grab a verse and copy it to a text document, I am making single text documents of a single verse but quoted from the 18 top bibles. I.E. Col 1:14 in all 18 versions on one page, saved that way so at anytime I can open it and copy to any post showing directly all 18 versions on one page and how they differ. The main reason they differ is because the base texts are so different, our KJV is based on the Textus Receptus while the modern perversions are based and the alexandrinus texts. Codex Vaticanus Codex Sinaiticus Codex Alexandrinus I have a facsimile of Codex Sinaiticus and anyone with eyes can plainly see the editing and ereasing that has been done. This script had it been in Masorite hands would have been burned ages ago for being so utterly corupted with editing and erasing. The Masorites counted letters, counted to the middle and if one mistake was made in copying, they would note that mistake in the margin, and then destroy that copy even if it was a complete copy with just one error. but modernists could not care less about such things, they hate our KJV and wont have it, but want the modern perversions because their father the devil has deceived into thinking their perversions are just as good as God's Faithful preserved true Word.

Thanks for the view and comment, Living With Faith Bible Reviews! I find the differences between Tyndale and his followers fascinating (like heavenly soldiers _versus_ heavenly host). Perhaps someone will print this New Testament (or a later edition) with modern spelling and typeface, like Tolle Lege did for the 1599 Geneva Bible.

Acts 20:7 is correct in this translation. That's the problem with all the other translations. They didn't translate the Greek correctly. I also purchased the Matthew's bible and the Geneva bible and the translation of Acts 20:7 was already changed to first day of the week. That's not what the Greek says. Lol at all the translations, the word 'day' is in italics which means that word did not exist in the original Greek. I read the Greek as was dumbfounded as to why they would have translated it that way. Great review.

Why does I look like a J?
@RGrantJones4 жыл бұрын
In Tyndale's time, 'i' and 'j' weren't clearly distinguished. There's a fairly good article on these letters at Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J . The article states that "The first English language book to make a clear distinction between ⟨i⟩ and ⟨j⟩ was published in 1633," long after Tyndale's New Testament was published.

There is a lot to digest it will take time. Now Saint Jerome, the scribe responsible for the Vulgate Latin Bible, states that "Matthew, who is also Levi... Composed a gospel... In the Hebrew language and Characters... Furthermore, the Hebrew itself is preserved to this day in the library at Caesarea, which the martyr Pamphilus so diligently collected.” Now before Jerome read from these writings, they were under the care of Eusebius who read and quoted Matthew 28:19 over 18 times and never was the words "The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost" read or quoted. Instead what was said was: "Go ye and make disciples of all the nations in My name, teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I command..." No Father, No Son and No Holy anything mentioned. This is supported by baptism documented in Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5 and Acts 22:16 which all say “..in the name of Jesus Christ” and NOT “The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost” Now one will undoubtedly quote 1 John 5:5 to 8. The problem is the words from “in heaven” Verse 7 to “through on earth” Verse 8 are not accurate or even in older text. This isn’t contested. And to prove The Trinity is Political Nonsense, do a search for “Comma Johanneum” and you will find in 1522 Desiderius Erasmus adds the words “The Father etc..” because of political pressure and the words are not found in any earlier copies of the Gospel. This information isn’t contested. So to summarise, The Trinity is of the machinations of man and a false doctrine you should NOT be following it. On Eusebius. Eusebius is the author of: Life of Constantine Ancient Christian Text ( Commentary on Isiah) Preparations For The Gospel Ecclesiastical History Further reading supporting Saint Jerome: A Catalogue Of Fathers Of The Church and Ecclesiastical Writers To The Fifteenth Century (1850) By C.J.Stewart Kessinger Legacy Reprints

Interesting, though I can't say it true without researching the translations first hand. What translation in your opinion is the best from Greek to English? Am curious about a proper baptism, if the trinity is wrong then people are baptizing incorrectly. Yet it does say the three are one In other verses. Is upsetting knowing man has tampered with the word by purposely or improperly translating the word out of unclean spirits within them or out of ignorance. Though I feel Tyndale did a fine job yet I am leery as it was designed with 33 rows which many now know is a sign of masonic lucifarian works as they put this number in many of their works usually hidden in plain sight to show who they serve yet remain a secret society or try to be.

Which original manuscripts are these translated from? I heard you said Greek twice......but the septuagint had no new testament, only the five books of moses. Are you deliberately misleading people or are you ignorant to the facts?

Thanks for commenting! I'm ignorant of very many facts. But would you mind clarifying your question? It puzzles me, because this is an English translation of the _New_ Testament. It was translated from Erasmus's Greek New Testament -- not, of course, from the Greek Old Testament.

@Egbert IV Thank you for your comment. The Quran was written by several companions who were chosen by prophet Mohammed (Pbuh) who was illiterate. Also The Qur'an was revised every year by Angel Gabriel. It's stated clearly in the Quarn that no one can change it 15:9 Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian. 29:48 And you did not recite before it any scripture, nor did you inscribe one with your right hand. Otherwise the falsifiers would have had [cause for] doubt. 29:49 Rather, the Qur'an is distinct verses [preserved] within the breasts of those who have been given knowledge. And none reject Our verses except the wrongdoers. 41:41 Indeed, those who disbelieve in the message after it has come to them... And indeed, it is a mighty Book. 41:42 Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; [it is] a revelation from a [Lord who is] Wise and Praiseworthy.
