I agree, she was adorable, especially in her silent films. I think that because she was so often cast in roles that required her to play mousey spinsters, people overlooked her beauty.

"Bring on the provender!" Many generations before my own, but I enjoy Mr. Field's work more than any other of the era. He is an iconic character like few other.

Zuzu pitts was a real beauty.. ( see her in Greed) and a classic comedienne, and character actor.. who had an extremely long career. Always glad to see her !

I was going to ask if she voiced Olive Oyl in the Popeye cartoons. Turns out Mae Questel did that, but she based the voice on Za Zu.

According to Maé Questel, lwho voiced Betty boop and Olive Oyll for Fleischer studios, Zasu was the inspiration for her vocal interpretation of Ólive Oyl.
