Does this bar cover up the access hole for the spare tyre release ? So basically do you HAVE TO have the spare wheel on the bar???

Can’t justify the prices I know it’s a pain to make but I’m just going to weld up my own no way I’m paying 2k for a gq rear bar

Brother has the same one. Flip the bolts around on the lights and you can mount them inside the bar rather than on the otherwise so they don’t get hit

That’s a good idea 👍👍

Hey mate great video! I’ve been debating buying the same style rear bar for my 105 for a few weeks aswell, now that I’ve seen yours I think I’ll go through with it! Looks fantastic! Just wondering if you know how much it weighs roughly without the Jerry cans or the spare wheel?

Hey mate there's no specs on the Ozi4x4 website- but looking at some other rear bars, I'd say it was around that 45/50kg mark just as the bar itself.

Hey Will, We purchased this a while ago and only fitting it now! In fact I woke up the morning of taking the plastic bumper off to find you’d made this vid 👍 I’m up to fitting the bolts under near. How’d you go with it as I’m having trouble with the the bolt placements.?
@WillsLandcruiser11 ай бұрын
The nuts for those bolts in the chassis rail can be difficult as they sometimes come unstuck and move around. You can get a piece of wire or something similar down the end of the chassis rail to adjust their position. Can definitely be a tedious job sometimes!

Good video matey. I could totally relate...as I bought the Powerful 4x4 rear bar for my 80, like you, yes cause it was cheap, but it also had very similar fitment issues. Cursed and swore and drank beers for 3 days on a suposedly 4hr fitment. Probably out of the same facory as yours. It was only $1400 which was less than half the price of branded ones. A few little tweeks here and there, fitted up nice and did the job for many years. It did have the tow bar inbuilt into the bar though. Had the same issue with the jerry can holders and i also modded it. You will find with two full jerries in it, it will wobble alot. I added two bits of box underneath the bottom to the swingarm to brace it and made a handy little shelf too. Also i think those lights would mount on the inside some how. You'll destroy them where they are on the out side. Can I have the under slung spare tyre holder if you dont want it...? Cheers...👍

You always get what you pay for. Hard to justify $4k or more on a branded bar- I’m sure they’re way better quality but not everyone has the cash laying around for that! Flick me a message on Facebook or Instagram about that tyre sling or send me an email if that doesn’t work for you- will@willslandcruisermods.com.au - I’m sure we can work something out with that 👍

I just bought one of these , I noticed you put your lights on the outside of the bar , I think they go in behind the bar so they are flush, you have to undo the screws and feed the through the front

I think you might be right mate. I need to change that!

Good work Will, looks good, but to be honest I'm glad I ran with rasslar engineering rear bar, at the same time I had rock sliders fitted and they removed my white ironman front bar and modified to fit winch as intercooler fouled fitment and powder coated in black same as rest of gear 😎

Always better going for a quality brand if you can afford it, I agree!

After the headache a fck around we just had with ozi 4x4 to just be able to collect it I’m not excited to be fitting this up today

They messed me around a lot too…. I actually asked for my money back and they finally caved and sent the bar

Yeah we waited 3 months for our bar, got told it was in and when we went to pick it up the store was closed called them got on to some bloke in VIC and they wound up sending someone in that was a ex employee so we could get the bar. Won’t be buying anything else from them again. We didn’t have half our nuts or bolts for the bar

@@zacgossage5164 yep unfortunately I had a similar experience. They tried to charge me hundreds more shipping once it was in stock because it had to come from Perth instead of Sydney?? That’s when I asked for a full refund and they sent it anyway
