I certainly understand about being tired from lack of sleep. I had to be up early this morning and didn't sleep well last night at all. I'm fixing to go to sleep now because I've got an early morning again Friday. Unfortunately I'm not feeling that well and was definitely short on spoons today. I'm hoping this trend reverses soon.

Also, my optometrist said my astigmatism is getting so bad that soon they won't be able to make lenses thick enough to compensate; he's thinking I'll need corrective surgery - at 27 years old! 😭 It's one of my biggest medical-y fears, having an eye operation... Blegh

Hey NSC! I totally acknowledge your frustration about the 2-step; however (even though there should be an alternative!) could you use the phone number of a friend - or even a subscriber - and they could message you the auth codes when you generate them? I'd be happy for you to use mine, although I'm not sure our time zones match up very well... You wouldn't have to share your account details, you can just put someone else's number against your account.

Mine broke ages ago. I've needed glasses my whole life. I can't see well at all. Nearsighted in one eye, farsighted in the other, astigmatism in both. Been about 10 years I've been without- never had money to replace them.

I've never used the VA system although I could. Used the private sector all my life. I thought you could get glasses through them at no cost or at least at a discount. I know they were issued to us while in the military but I never wore them. Hated the frames.

Nope, they don't cover vision or dental through the V.A. unless you have 100% disability, and even THEN it's not guaranteed.
