Come along on our family vacation to Williamsburg, VA! We had so much fun playing in the sand at Yorktown Beach and driving go-karts at Go-Karts Plus. And there was so much history! Between Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement, and the American Revolutionary Museum at Yorktown, our family learned so much about American history on this trip. As you can probably tell, we're a multiracial family (or interracial family or mixed family - whichever term you prefer). Carmen is Chinese and Belgian, and mostly grew up in Hong Kong. Serge's parents are both from Benin in West Africa, and he was born and raised in NYC.

as someone who lives in richmond, you should have considered seeing some of our history, or you could have gone to norfolk to see all the warships in the harbour (its totally worth the money!)

Ahhh Williamsburg winery is our favorite. They even host concerts there outside! You guys sure got a lot done! We’re hoping to head there sometime this month to check out the battlefield and check another National park off our list.

I would recommend staying at Colonies at Williamsburg. It is a lovely property. We stayed there in 2019. A warning though! Please do not get snagged by the Concierge. She or he will offer you tickets to Old Williamsburg for just 90 minutes of your time. We fell for it. We were lied to by our sales agent Jackie, convinced to buy and now we our out $45K, all of our savings. My husband is a 100% service connected Vietnam Vet. I have been contacting the CEO's of VV for months with no response. Enjoy the property but go through Airbnb or some other rental and DO NOT BUY!!
