cmoneyno5 if he ever gets knocked out that's when people will say he's great. Cause then is easier for people to identify with losing than perfection. It happened with ali. That's how America is. And I say America because it's a shame how we treat one of our own. A guy that risen up from an American poverty, mother was a drug addict father professional boxer but sold drugs to put food on his tummy. From that to representing the u.s in the Olympics to being the highest paid athlete in the world. And he gets boooooooed? Speechless I wonder if mayweather vs pac in a Olympic bout. Would he still get booed by his own country.
@arlenegarza36019 жыл бұрын
+Heightz Rubirosa Hell yeah I would boo someone that don't bring it. He's a great defender and quick on his feet but I want to see a fight, you know where they punch you and you punch them back type of thing. @HotDogInYourBUN9 жыл бұрын
arlene garza I understand ur frustration, yet y aren't u blaming his opponents for not knocking him. Y his opponent never out points him, out out lands him. If your going to see it one way. Yes u gonna be frustrated by him. But looking at the whole pic. He wins but he gets booed and the other fighter gets a pass. Nah that's now how it works. Those fighters are charging people too. Where is the accountability of his opponents? Boo him for what? Winning? If your child was mayweather u would boo him? I doubt that. Let's be objective. You would congratulate him and be happy for him. You will also be happy for him cause he insure himself in not taking punishment etc. Look at the whole pic, look at the age aswell? Look at the champions he has beaten. Like cause he ain't tyson I'm gonna boo him? Smh. Is he exciting? No. Yet this is not called "exciting boxing" this is called simply "boxing" he's a master of boxing. Facts, period.

+Regz Zuse Floyd is retiring, everybody talking about how hes gonna come back for 50-0 are just saying that because THEY have ocd. And they cannot comprehend why someone would leave on an odd number, its really ridiculous, if you watched his last fight, all his actions say it all, hes done. Hes too smart to come back. Boxing fans are used to boxers NOT knowing when to leave and lose 3 fights in a row before they give it up

Canelo will give GGG HELLA problems. I think Canelo can stop him at a catch weight. GGG inside game is suspect.
@mozilla19869 жыл бұрын
K Holbert Gotta disagree. GGG IMO had a tactical flaw he was really gun ho for the KO after rd 2 and did not allow the distance he needed to let his hands go. Monroe did great in taking adv but I think GGG just didn't take that step back when necessary he wanted a phone booth fight. Defo Moroe staying in the pocket gave GGG problems and with Canelo's fast hands he could land some telling blows, but there's a huge risk fighting inside against GGG as you're in the eye of the storm it's a real gutsy move and you have to have the reflexes of cat and the chin of iron to take that risk because you will get hit. Canelo would give him trouble in the inside but he would eventually fall. Monroe prob revealed a few flaws that prob had Canelo and Ward thinking.
@hhh12009 жыл бұрын
***** canelo likes to take breaks. unless it's at 155, he is getting stopped.

@PIMPhardLIFESeasy9 жыл бұрын
mozilla1986 the reason GGG did not take a step back is because even though his inside fight game is suspect he has absolutely no fight game going backwards he only fights one way. I think Canelo has the power and the inside fight game to push him back. As for Canelo gassing! May be I wasn't watching the same fight as everyone else but GGG was tired as hell and he was gassed too against Monroe. When he has to work and he is not just hunting he gets tired. The key to beating this man is smothering his shots and giving as hard as you take on the INSIDE. You can not give him range to hunt. He is also a placement killer he has to touch you In certain areas to hurt you. If his range is smothered those shots are not there. He is less likely to hurt you severely. His past opposition has been afraid of him and would not get close to him. They respected his power before they felt the power. When you fight like that you are already beat mentally.

@raymichael11759 жыл бұрын
He kept letting ggg get off the uppercut soon as the rounds started. Also he didn't use his Jab stiff enough. GGG don't like body shots and Monroe stop throwing them in the last two rounds. He should have kept going body to the head all night and using a aggressive strong jab. Instead of getting hit with the uppercut GGG was there for the same punch up close and semi up close.
@thelasthourgetready9 жыл бұрын
Yr right about that Jab. I watched that GGG fight with that African Guy twice and Golovin dont like That aggressive stiff Jab he also was getting backed up with that strong 1 2. When some fighters get in rhythm and start to make progress they back up and dont capitalise on it. I guess they are Afraid of the power. A smart strong fighter that can also crack will beat him good but he is not that good. Canelo beats him and ward beats him easy

Monroe Jr. is built like "Tarzan," but punches like "Jane." He seemed scared to throw HARD punches. When a man throws hard punches at you, throw HARD punches BACK. You have to be willing to HURT a man in THIS sport. You don't throw "Pitty-Pat" shit in hopes that your opponent won't hit you hard. He claims to be a warrior, but he told the "REF" that he had enough. He should either get BETTER training or QUIT.
