Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Interesting to see all the negativity in the comments. Gotta tell you I was flat mesmerized by his presence, phrasing, and just downright inhabiting all three elements of this medley. As it ended, I found myself thinking "damn, the man was 80 years old at the time of this performance! The technical skills may fade, but Willie has forgotten more than most artists will ever know about 'selling' a song." I am in awe. Happy birthday, Willie. Play on.

The naysayers just don't get it. This is so entertaining, and I think self-effacing on Willie's part, though his genius still shines through. Did you notice that he quoted "Jingle Bells" at the end?
