When Merle walks in says to willie, hey can I borrow some cash to get home ---- Willie laughs and says what ever ya need ..... OhMyGoodness my soul even smiles ,their laughs are just pure happiness and you can tell they've been close as brothers all these years. I just absolutely love Willie & Merle , still count myself extremely lucky to have seen Willie Merle and Ray Price in 2007 at the Charleston WV civic center. I've seen Willie several times and always held out hope I'd see him again ,had tickets for Willie & Merle several yrs ago but Merle took sick so the show was canceled. But still one lucky individual to have seen all my country hero's except Waylon.

Love these two guys. They're both so talented and funny. What'd I'd give to have spent a few hours hanging out in a jam session with them... and while I'm dreaming go ahead and add George & Johnny in there. Ive been watching this video since it was posted 3 or 4 times a week and I will continue to do so for a while now I think. Merle and Willie have been ever present for all of my life and now Merle has gone home . My good friend for many years who would be looked down upon by those who have money said " Its a great life if you dont weaken " ..He was the workin man and Merle wrote and sang for the workin man like my friend Chris and me . I keep doin my best at being the workin man and doing my best at tryin not to weaken . Peace and love to my friends Merle and Chris .

This made me a better man. The most touching thing I ever heard Merle say was when they took him back to the site where his dad had made them a home out of a boxcar. Its awesome to listen to the top of the tree in the studios like this. You just hear the greatness of the artistry in all that they do. It was worthy of note to hear the harmonica player say that they were pretty much spontaneous in the what they did and not to much coaching of the band parts...that's amazing to, What id give to sit in on a session like this. Been invited to London recently to network with the industry there. Maybe my songs will get heard a bit and i can eventually have sessions like these Thanks guys
