It was about this same timeframe that I saw him live. It was at the first annual Keen Radio music festival. It was in San Jose at the Santa Clara Fair Grounds. Willie had his beard, and wore a red, white and blue bandana on his head. It was my favorite act of the festival.

And I let all that church hate go 30 years ago now and it doesn’t even bother me at all anymore because I know where I’m going to when I die
