Humble brag time: In 1994, I played bass for a band that opened for Clutch at the Capri Theatre in Charlotte. That would be the first time I saw Neil & the only time I'd see him without a beard... until this video, which I'm seeing for the first time in November of 2022. A little grey on the sides, but that's definitely the same dude I said "Hey" to in the back. That was 28 years ago. Young people: try stuff. You don't have to hit big. The memories are their own reward.

Pulling the Willie Nelson album Red Headed Stranger off the shelf at 2:09 was a nice touch. Edit: The LP pulled off of the shelf at 2:02 is Blast Tyrant, and the album removed at 2:05 is Slow Hole to China. Also at 2:05, an Earth Rocker LP is seen on the shelf. But that disappears and is replaced with Red Headed Stranger at 2:07.

Took 3 years of trying to see willie Nelson but got my chance on my birthday. Never got to see my favorite band since highschool. Long time clutch fan. My friend owned a screen art shop and we had to make our own elephant riders tshirts and ran into a clutch vender at a concert wanting to buy our knockoff shirts. Lol.
