Her album "this is acting" consists of multiple songs that were meant for other artists that either were rejected or simply didn't make the final album list. "Bird set free" was written for (and I believe with) Adele, and "Sweet Design" for Beyoncé. She wrote Beyoncé's "pretty hurts", and yes, she wrote Diamonds as well. There's actually audio somewhere on youtube of sia's demo recording and it's fantastic.

I will point out that I was wrong about "sweet design". It was actually meant for J. Lo. But a great majority of songs on the album were written by her for other big name artists, and then she turned them into her own for the album, which I believe was meant to be a "reject" song album.
