Very nice presentation to Uganda western region. I like it 🤗. In my opinion, these are the types of experiences we (as Americans) SHOULD HAVE been getting to the continent of Africa long long ago. Instead of trying to Integrate with our oppressors, we should have focused on integrating back Home

Africa is a massive continent. this is east africa 4000 miles from west africa where most african Americans originate, try Sierra Leone or Liberia. Good luck . East Africa speaks English and its cultural influence is what makes it more successful

I am a Mukiga from Kigezi Region.Kigezi has other tribes like the Bahororo. We speak the same language as Runyankore. And our dialect is called Runyakitara which combines Rukiga Runyankore Runyoro Rutoro and others.Actually Runyakitara is the most spoken dialect in Uganda. Therefore in as much as we speak the same dialect,we are totally different.Proudly Kiga from Kigezi❤

U did a good job as an American To be upfront and be honest People in that region of ankole, rwanda burundi eastern drc tend to be hypocrite when it comes to ethnic relations!!! As the last commentator eric tried to use hypocrisy in countering u Tutsis of uganda rwanda Burundi are all related and bahima are just a clan of tutsi people We arrived in that region 1500 years ago and for some reason our ancestors chose the bantu languages of the hosts now neighbors The president of uganda had worked very hard to avoid the mess the beligian masters left in rwanda Burundi eastern drc(ethnic devisions) M7 forsaw very early the possibility of abiru, kiga, fumbira doing what happened in rwanda Burundi from 1959 to 94 And now happening in eastern drc I need the contact of ur tour guide I want to ask him about buying land near mbarara!!!and that motel was clean i would stay there next time What's the name

Our country is still developing so people sell whatever they are selling in places where they can afford rent as buyers you buy depending on your way of life so our business sector still serves all depending on your social class some people buy from markets others malls others botiques others street vendors it really depends on your life style it's not like there are no shops where people would rent and have their business inside not outside

What you are saying is nonsense. You tend to look at everythig from the eyes of Rwanda. There is no tension between Bairu and Bahima, those terms are not even used here. Your generalisation is detastable. Be a student dont be a commentator or a teacher.

@@WillieFungoplease iunderstand you trying to categorize the ethnic groups or background but it's no longer an issue like in Rwanda you don't use words like batutsi and bahutu so like wise here in mbarara it's My home my city we live peaceful with all enthnic groups be it bahima, bakiga, banyankore and many others coz there's batoro ,bafumbira in kisoro and others they are the same coz we had issues some years back when the bahima were only cattle keepers and while others were both cattle keepers and farmers then later they released that they were left behind in business they joined with others coz they used not to educate but now things we are all on the same page no segregation we are One people as westerners and even others coz Ankole pple are homecoming imean they are super friendly.

Is this a distaste you still have for Africa ?…I see you talking about how “nice” a place is when you see concrete everywhere. Every country has its built areas and it’s unbuilt areas…one goes to be where one chooses….then you speak of “random orange dust” ….DUST ??….DUST !!?……dust is Everywhere ! - like air !….that’s the colour of dirt in Uganda, so naturally, the place will have an orange appearance…the area you didn’t see it, is an area that has brown dust, like the ‘developed’ countries you know….it’s still just as ‘’randomly dusty” as everywhere else in the world…it’s dust ! I think You need to live there a while longer…..you don’t seem used to the place.
