@jumperwilly what i did was extract the sound from actual trailer. In iMovie you can import the actual trailer and in the timeline i would "detach" audio by right clicking on the video. Then i would delete the video footages and keep the sound effects so you can add footages to match the sound.

@TheTimeshine not stupid question at all. I took photos of the toys and set and moved them frame by frame, so after i would combine the photos together to create the effect that they are moving. There are quite a lot of stop motion softwares that will help you. I'm planning to tutorial video in the future and make more stop motion if u interested in my next stop motion project. @blackbird3130 it took me 5 weeks from planning to finalising. You sorta plan and have better ideas as you go along. The idea for the shockwave snaking in and out of building took me a while to figure out so start thinking about what you want to use. i.e playdoh, lego, plasticine etc. Visualise and plan what materials and type of lego you need to make your project, filming the stopmotion is not the hardest as once you have the set and props its all go from there...I had a friend helping with cam

@TransformersFan5000 yes the helmets from alien conquest can't move up. You will need helmets from Motorcycles which were from Police minifigs
