Religion and ritual were present in all activities of the Andean people. Besides worshiping their gods, they also worshiped sacred places which they called Huacas. These Huacas were located throughout the Inca empire -- mountain tops, caves, rivers and springs. Also, as their knowledge and interpretation of the cosmos allowed, the Andean people considered the Milky Way a celestial river and therefore sacred. For thousands of years it was the source of many of their myths and legends.

I am going to Mauchu Pichu The sounds of the pan pipe is from "mother earth" The people can not do anything with out her. They music that makes her happy ! It keeps people happy to go to work, the sound is awesome, u can hear it from miles away, carried by the wind and sky.

There's been a minor controversy. Its a 440 vs 432 frequency thing. Some think instruments tuned to 432 sound better than 440. (Oddly, 432 is 144x3 and 440 is almost exactly 144 reversed)
