In case anyone is wondering, those lights you see in Mikey's clips are infrared. The night vision cameras emit it in order to 'see' but humans cannot see it. He is in complete darkness. That's also why there are shadows, because like normal light, if it's blocked, it makes a shadow. Fun fact: When your phone is using face ID, it emits infrared light to recognise your face!

Fuck that I would take the dark vs the literal hundreds of mosquitoes and sleeping on rocks for 3 days. Some clips really show just how bad the mosquitos were I mean I've been swarmed but not even close to what he was going through. It might be dark but it's temperature controlled, no bugs, large soft bed, toilet and shower, water and food, nothing to haul on your back. I would spend 5 days in the dark vs the 3 days traveling.
