Just because something doesn't have sulfates, it doesn't mean the product doesn't have some other type of surfectant. I've used the Trader Joe's shampoo for years, and it gets the job done. It has something called sulfonate. Technically they can advertise this as sulfate free, but sulfonate functions very similarly. I don't mind, but others might.

This was just recommended to me after I was getting through front line footage from the protests. @@maryambi4671 what about an acv rinse? I have dry high porosity hair and it sheds like crazy on wash day(unless I pre-Poo) but when I do an acv rinse whatever style I do to my hair afterwards looks amazing and my hair stays shiny and moisturized for the entire week & on the next wash day my shedding is almost non existent. Just make sure you use a moisturizing pre-Poo before your acv rinse though and you should be good. I recommend the mane choice proceed with caution one.

Beau Cei ohhh yess! I do acv rinses once in a while. I’m low porosity. I got a big haircut in Aug and have increased the frequency of my wash days and oiling my scalp more. Those have helped tremendously and my hair is growing out from the cut so quickly. I usually don’t comb my hair more than weekly or biweekly so that’s also why I would see a lot of shed hair but it was still too much. Thankfully it has since improved lol. I usually use acv mixed with clay and aloe and honey and oils for a nice hair mask. It helps but the cause of my shedding is mostly stress related and an iron deficiency that I’m correcting 😩😂

I love these products. I found them through my CURLKIT subscription and was pleasantly surprised!!!
