I loveeddd this vlog!!! As a Jamaican, I agree that the tamales-eqsue meal is indeed called blue drawers 😂 anndd the drink you got at the taco place is called Sorrel. It’s a flower that we boil and steep as tea, and it’s spiced with cloves and ginger. Other Caribbean countries might also spice it with star anise among other things! It’s looking like AZ is the next trip I gotta take 🤩

Lot of environmental diversity in AZ too. Phoenix is right in the heart of the Sonoran Desert obviously, but just 90 minutes north and you get into the largest Ponderosa pine forest in the country, and another 90 from there and you're in Flagstaff, one of the snowiest cities in the country, it gets really cold there. Sedona is gorgeous and unique, the Grand Canyon is...well duh, but point is there's so much to explore in AZ.

I am a resident of Arizona and I will say homie stayed on the tourist side of phx. No this is not your sign to move here, no it's not tacos and 75 degree weather, yes there are tweakers on every street & tricks on every other after 16th st to 24th ave. Yes the police in phx are corrupt and abusive. Yes the illegal immigrants are abundant 60 percent work, 10 percent are criminal and 30 percent just exist. South phx is gangs everywhere, West phx is crimnials everywhere, east is half and half, but mostly business after major gentrification and north phx is rich and private areas. We all hate Scottsdale and we all don't have a choice but to go to Glendale cause thats where most people can afford to live and avoid the south. California's ruined the economy and the government does nothing to fix it. It's been 106 to 114 every day the past three months and it's not stopping. Literally shits melting on the sidewalk and a we're surrounded by wildfires every summer. Don't let these lil volgs trick you, most are paid by Az tourism to get money in their pockets. Go somewhere else, wherever it is, is better. Trust me.
