So afraid of being female, being soft and vulnerable and thinking woman means weak. I am human, I am woman. I am strength, I am life. I am love. Edit: There is so much power behind this statement. So much shame has been placed into women for being too feminine, not feminine enough, being seen as weak or small, coming second to men, ect.. This statement shakes the chains that society tries to bind us with. Owning your humanity is owning your womanhood, and vice versa. "I am human. I am woman." is taking back your power and healing your inner Goddess. Life could not exist without divine femininity.

Exactly. The word woman and human have been so disconnected in today’s society. The way society sexualizes our bodies and tries to ingrain such skewed and damaged ideas and expectations into our minds for our whole lives. It’s important to deconstruct all those beliefs that society(Specifically MEN) has pushed onto us. It’s okay to be sexual as a woman and it doesn’t make you less human or undeserving of respect. We need to teach people to stop sexualizing women’s bodies. It’s sad and wrong. A woman is a human being.

I'm a man, and this song speaks to me. "Wow!" Is how id sum up this first listening experience... an instant classic. Willow has raw talent that needs to be heard regardless of who her parents are. This is music for the soul. It's almost a setback that shes Will and Jadas daughter; people will write her off as a rich kid experimenting. This song clearly shows she has something to say. I always thought (as much as I dislike his antics) Jaden was the one with a future in music, but after hearing this sonnet it's clearly not the case!
