Willowace Socks, My review

I left a review surrounding toe-box construction (lumpy and tight) - Willowace deleted it. Compared to the direct competition - not great. Sticking with Darn Tough.

they should have left it up. I like the socks, but feet vary ... a lot.

Just got mine a few days ago and I'm very disappointed. I ordered them because when I searched 'Alpaca socks' they came out to be the least expensive. You get what you pay for is true in my case. What I got were thin, lightweight socks similar to my regular socks. They are certainly not as comfortable as my other Alpaca fiber socks from Pacas. And my WillowAce socks do not keep my feet dry nor regulate temperature well, if at all. I'm curious about all the good reviews I've read before. Did WillowAce source and deliver better socks before and now they don't? I don't find anything special with these socks.

These are definitely not alpaca socks. It's a Chinese company that is using the word alpaca as an excuse to sell $2 socks for $10 and claim that they're $20 to $25 socks. The Facebook site deletes all negative comments and I suspect that most of the comments are fake.

They are warmer, they also fit better, do not fall down during the day

Awful socks, the toe box area is so tight it becomes unbearable to wear. I purchased 7 pair of socks thinking they were a good product due to the amount of reviews, NOPE, after one washing in cold water they shrunk even more and I can't even wear them in the house without it causing pain from compressing my toes.I quit trying to "break them in" due to an ingrown nail forming on my right large toe. I'm just past the 30 day window to return and they only want to give me a discount towards another order for a larger size. I should have researched more as others have stated their reviews are deleted or blocked on Facebook. I first thought it was an American made product, but their vague "American" advertising made you believe they were made here, they have since updated their phrasing and has "American Owned Company" & "Ship's from America"....... Most likely a Chinese product, which would suggest why the socks are so tight. No information on product when arrived to inform of this discrepancy.
