It’s not fake in my opinion, Chris didn’t expect Will to act out like that over a simple joke. Will was literally laughing at the joke until he probably saw his wife face and had to act up. Chris prob thought Will was walking up to tell him something…not slap him. Chris was shocked but he is a master of keeping composure. It wouldn’t make sense for him to fight on live TV and mess up the bag. Chris even mumbled under his break “ha I should of…” then trailed off. He prob had another joke to make to retaliate but choose the upper road. This was very real it just wasn’t expected by anyone because I mean it’s “WILL” Now Chris is a better man then me... I mean Slapping me like I’m your son? You gunna have to see me after that Show.

I remember working in production and setting up for a WWE wrestling event. Once the stage was set early afternoon and wrestlers arrived, they started going through their routine. They were rehearsing, reading lines from a SCRIPT. Not sure if this was scripted or not. But just like wrestling, it is possible. Plus unlike those wrestlers, these guys are real actors.

You've got to understand that the slap was fake but the yelling at the end rewlly sold it. It made it look real. If they showed us Will's transition from laughing to anger, we'd have no doubts. Even so they didn't show Will's face as he walked on stage so you didn't know what to expect. Plus he did it very rapidly and dramatically followed through so we know what he did even though we didn't see clearly what he did. The yelling at the end also takes focus away from the actual slap. Plus if Will walked up to Chris angrily, why would Chris lean in to give him a better angle at hitting him? It was definitely staged but now the main question is who orchestrated it and why? Who are the true benefitters in this situation and how does this affect the image of all those involved?
