The best thing about Contreras is he truly looks up to Yadi and has always shown him a tremendous amount of respesct, regardless of the Cards-Cubs rivarly. Thats how you know he loves baseball..no ego, just game. Awesome attitude to have coming to St. Louis.

I have a whole new respect for Contreras after the organization turned their back on him and made him a scapegoat blaming him for their problems... While his defense leaves a little to be desired he plays hard and with passion plus when he’s locked in he’s dangerous at the plate!
