Finally, someone who explains the meaning of this platform, I've watched so many videos with lots of tricks but no basic information. Thanks for sharing 🙏

Thank you for making this video! Your explanation was clear and concise. I was always dismissive of smart home tech because I thought it had to be tied to Amazon or Google, and I didn't want the potential security concerns that come with cloud-connected home devices. Now I find out that there's a local solution, awesome!

Thanks for putting this out for everyone's information! A lot of negative people out there so bored with their life they've got to find someone to put down. Solid video and gave me what I was looking for!

Just wanted to say thank you for making this, I shared it with a potential new user to fill them in on the basics about it. There are surprisingly few that just talk about it in general as opposed to teaching you how to setup something cool with it. Like given :)

Hi Will, Very good Video and a great channel. I will give HA a miss now, as its just too complicated to download, never mind trying to set it up. It's very Geeky. All we need is an open source program that works on Windows/Macs with a single button that says Download, and the program does the rest. There is no need for Windows sub system(s) etc. Build it into a program. Still like I said you have a great channel. All the best.

Haha, I agree. @Will, don't take this the wrong way but your delivery could be improved. The positioning of the camera and the way you're staring at us viewers, combined with your abrupt intonation, is a little bit off putting. It's a shame because your content is excellent otherwise. You covered the topic very well and are clearly knowledgeable about the subject. As I said, please don't take this criticism negatively as it's given with the intention to help you improve your channel.
