I got diagnosed with diabetes a few weeks ago, I'm obese and I've been suffering from depression for the passed 10 years. Quite coincidentally I stumbled upon your channel and your joy and lightheartedness inspires and motivates me so extremely much - thank you, thank you, thank you!! So far I''ve been taking baby steps but I'm feeling a little better every single day and I feel like life is nice and positive instead of a daily struggle. You and work have an impact on people and I just wanted to let you know that what you do matters and potentially saves lives and sanity. Keep it up and say hi to your lovely mum 😊

Hej guys, thank you so much for asking!! 😊 there is still progress but of course things get rocky from time to time. But i try to understand every step that doesn't go forwards as a learning experience. What i still have to learn is to handle negative emotions by not eating but doing something that is really good for me. Also I incorporated other forms of self-care into my life... or any self-care, I never felt it was necessary to do something for myself apart from eating or watching TV. So long walks with my dog, gardening and I booked my first vacation since 2010 🥳 but it's still a long way but I'm quite optimistic!

Hi Will, I’m 72 and have resumed lifting after 3 years of slacking. I’m a carpenter/contractor so there is always movement 5-6 days a week .......carpenters don’t make money sitting down...but it’s not enough to maximize health .I’ve been back to the gym 23 out of 35 days so I’m not hitting it hard yet but I am encouraged with how it is going. I find that lifting in a gym setting instead of in my exercise room motivates me to work harder. ......I notice who is training hard and who isn’t. I did hit it hard in my 50s at home. I have a hip sled/smith chair/lat machine and bench. But this isn’t about my history. The point I want to make is that your channel is inspiring me. I’m going to “get it back”.
