Jeep looks great! I have a 61 also, never had it running, have a Buick 225 dauntless setting in the back as of now, paid $75 for everything few years ago.I’m sure it will be a money pit lol

Wow! $75. Awesome! You plan on fixing it up sometime?

@@BeardCandy yes I have it on my bucket list of thing to do,I want to rebuild the 225 myself,I’ve never rebuilt a motor before.also rebuild all the gear boxes and diffs too. I just finished restoring my dads old 1975 cj5 that’s been sitting 16 years approx. and also a 1952 dodge flat fender 1ton power wagon,i didn’t really restore PW, just got motor and winch maintenanced so it can be drove and used on farm, need to look into it’s transmission though. Jeep’s are so much simpler to work on and keep running lol

It was originally a farm Jeep and heavily modified farm-style! Lots of welding. VIN indicates it’s a Willy’s CJ5

I'm still scratching my head wondering where they all went in the blink of an eye. Does anyone else remember when that generation of Jeep was 3 or 4 to every suburban block?

They are becoming more and more rare, but fun little vehicles for sure!
