And yes, there are underwater firing firearms. The russians developed several in the 80s the Germans in the 80s and 90s, the US has several that are classified. The main consensus is that conventional bullets will travel 18 inches in rifles, pistols for about 12 inches while retaining their lethality and revolvers work better than semis because the inertia is dampened by the water. Revolvers use mechanical means to turn the cylinder. The russians did created a closed system semi auto and the US did as well but that was more along the lines of a pistol in a box to make it work. The current Russian and German systems use either compressed air or solid fuel and fire flechettes or single darts make of tungsten or boron to overcome the water pressure and drag. One german design uses multiple barrels that cannot be reloaded in the field to fire a 4 in long tungsten dart. I have limited experience with the HK weapon but the time I fired it underwater for a demonstration it went about 5 meters and dropped like a rock. That was the only shot I personally fired and it was part of a German award/qualification that allowed me to carry firearms as a qualified CT agent in Germany. I have had to go through the same process in the UK and Poland. The German standard is the hardest because all of the targets move. The polish was the easiest. The UK met. Armed officer/CT program was more about responsibility and hiding your identity than accuracy. I have worked in 12 countries either teaching or consulting on counter terrorism or counter kidnapping for the last 21 years. I recently retired and get to play games for free after being wounded in Afghanistan. Microsoft was kind enough to bring me an XBOX to my hospital room in Germany and I had consulted on firearms for EA in the past so they send me games to try. I enjoy your vids, keep it up, I watch when I'm unable to play because either I'm in pain or at a dr appointment. Thanks again.

Any sort of high end rifles to low end pistols are pretty much all waterproof, being that there normally made out of a very strong polymer and or aluminium , but guns don)t really get affected in sand, dirt, mud water. Because a gun is a mechanism nothing can really stop it from working. No matter what the conditions bullets are very waterproof nothing can stop that from firing. A gun is just a metal base that hits a pin hard enough to ignite a bullet it’s not very complicated in that matter more on the how it works aspect.

Those rail guns are where the big defence swarms of drones are coming from. Same swarms/clouds that took out your helicopter in the beginning, and the boat. I stopped to look at it once, to figure out what the f... was making that noice

Its advised to keep your firearms from being submerged though because they can get dirty and peices of debris in there water can get in the weapon and cause it to malfunction and jam up so it always good to avoid anything that could cause your weapons to become dirty or deteriorate unless you plan on taking the whole thing apart and cleaning it thoroughly that's why you always here about M4A1 and any other American AR15 styled rifle being less convenient to other weapons cause they get dirty so easily

@@jessemorgan2009 yes i can sign this. I disabled the Red clouds in Hardcore Mode. Since enemie patrols Roaming the maps its really great and immersive and compensates the Bad AI in a good way. Hope they fix the AI soon but till now its the best way to play without enemy clouds on Radar

Firearms can even fire underwater they're less effective that way but they will fire but don't try shooting one with just the barrel or half the barrel submerged cause the pressure will make the weapon explode or cause serious damage to the weapon

Guns will still work once they've been under water but you will have to disassemble it and clean it afterwards. Also water can't really get in the casing so the bullets would be fine

Love watchin your game play... just a few pointers if you don't mind... 1. stop rushing into things... too many time you just get eliminated because you ran right into your opponent. 2. pie your corners... that is just basic .... 3. remember slow is fast, and fast is slow.... 4. never go past an unsecure door or doorway....

Guns rust underwater they do have waterproof guns they will shot underwater but they lose a lot of velocity

I don’t know why you don’t like shotguns. Literally they have sniper range pretty much once you upgrade them to MK2. Mine are MK3 and SHIIIIIIT! One shot at long ranges. Shotguns are very effective especially when you equip the perk that gives you damage resistance every shot you land and also faster health regen

For the love of Pete don’t you know you have to build up SPEED to fly a plane??? And yes guns will still fire granted you’re using ammo that has sealed primers and necks but you have to make sure the water is out of the barrel or it will experience a catastrophic failure.

FYI, the sync shot drone counts for the "kill X enemies in X seconds". Also, don't collect dropped items when trying the "kill X enemies without reloading or swapping"...picking up ammo counts as reloading.

most guns work under water, yoiu could run an AK46 over in a car and hammer it back straighty and it would still work but took Colt/Steyr (Aug)/FN (Scar, Fal etc)/Heckar and Koch are the best mate then you got some Isreali that made the ACR m ,asala in CoD or the Tavor, basically newer guns ar4e fine but any no nosense man would clean them anyway which is why it woirks as water don't penetrate grease.

Firearms work fine after being submerged. In fact, there are several KZbin videos of guns firing underwater. Military ammo typically has sealant around the primer and between the bullet and brass to make them waterproof, but most civilian rounds are water resistant by the nature of the tight fit between components.
