Willys Jeeps Return to the Rubicon Trail 2021 - Part III

Footnote: I ran old vids of mine from the 1990’s and early 2000’s next to yours and it looks like some of the narrow spots on the big sluice and rock gardens are just a bit worse for wear! Some parts of the trail are almost indistinguishable until I watch more of the video or compare it with my old videos. This is quality entertainment for a retired guy in remote (and very hot) AZ reliving all those Rubicon trips what is now about 50 years. Has your group run (and filmed) any trip of Barrett Lake or the Dusy-Ershim trails? Our old group did those trails several times over the years.

What happened to Wade's "Cowbell White Jeep"? He ran those Duratrac tires. I have them on my F-250. I love those tires and that Jeep. I love all the Jeep's here, but Wade's Jeep strikes me from a time in my past.

Great video. Thank You. I grew up 40 miles from the Rubicon. I spent many memorable days camping and running the trail as a kid and adult from about 1970 to 2012. Life and health issues have kept me off the trail these past 10 years. I'm in Spokane now but hope to get back down and run the trail again someday in my 46.
